Elna 745Untitled Section Untitled Section Stitch Programs Overlock Features Accessories Brochures Instruction Manuals The Elna 745 has been designed with today's sewer in mind - a 5/4/3/2 model that is easy to use and fast to thread. All the information needed for the 17 built-in stitches is readily available on the display panel. Simply dial the program number of a stitch and let the automatic tensions set themselves.

All the set-up information you need for the 17 built-in stitch programs - differential feed, stitch length, needle position, cutting width, movable cutting blade position, etc. - is right here on the program display panel.
And the automatic tensions are set by simply moving the program selection dial. But, you can still change the tensions manually for special settings.
Elna's exclusive tilting needle clamp makes it quick and easy to change needles. Simply tilt the needle clamp and insert the needle - without dropping it into the machine. And you can use the automatic needle threader on any of the needles even when the clamp is tilted.
Look how nicely the blanket stitch on the Elna 745 applies this edge finish to a single layer of fabric - a blanket or felted scarf, for example.
How convenient - the 2-thread converter is built into the machine. It's always there when you need it - for 2 thread rolled hems, flatlocking or stretch wrapped.
A choice of three cover hems - triple, wide, narrow - is the answer when you're dealing with a stretchy hem or stretchy topstitching.
The control dials for both differential feed and stitch length are located on the front of the machine, in plain view. Stitch length can be set between 0.5 and 5 mm.

And the outside dial allows easy access to adjust your cutting width - up to 7 mm!
A color-coded system makes threading your 745 easy. Diagrams inside the front cover as well more detailed threading directions in the instruction manual guide you all the way.
