metro sewing centre have purchased the janome sewing machine business at northland shopping centre. (formerly trading as statewide sewing centre) we will trade under the names of metro sewing centre and relocate this stores business into our preston address.
as the rental in the northland shopping centre increased prohibitively we decided to re align the janome business from northland with our current business at 326 high street preston . all business and telephone calls will be diverted to 94702208. we have also retained the number 94782604 (formerly northland.) the telephone number listed under statewide will be diverted to our number at high street.

currently at preston we are agents for brother, singer, elna, toyota , platypus electrical cabinets, and horn sewing furniture. we also sell and repair elna and singer ironing presses.our range is extensive. we have been in the preston area for over 30 years

our store at sandown has been trading for 36 months and is such a success that we have decided to close our oakleigh store and relocate its business to sandown(springvale)
the sandown store is only 7 kms from oakleigh and is right next to the spotlight store there.
all calls to oakleigh store will be re directed to the sandown phone line. it is 95471111

our lesson rooms at sandown are second to none and our customers can only benefit by us being located right next to spotlight.
so come into preston sandown, moorrabbin and box hill and see all the changes that are taking place.

our new store at 970 nepean highway moorabbin has been opened since the middle of august 2003.

we are located inside the spotlight building near the fabric dept.

we are a free standing business and carry all the brands listed above.

our box hill store has had 4 locations in the last 5 years. we have finally moved into the new spotlight building at 845 whitehorse rd. tel 98986717. we are located right at the front door . near the car park entrance.

we sell mainly janome there but carry ironing presses and cabinets as well.

we repair machines as well.
