Drop Feed for free motion sewing
Feed teeth can be lowered for button sewing for free-motion sewing – a must-have for quilters! Simply slide Drop Feed Lever to lower the feed teeth. Slide it back and turn the handwheel one full turn to raise the feed teeth again.
Direct selection stitches
The most commonly used stitches are located on the front of the machine and are available with the touch of a button.
Adjustable stitch length (5mm)
Easily customise the appearance of your selected stitch by increasing or decreasing the distance between the stitches
Adjustable stitch width (7mm)
The stitch width left to right is adjustable, to make your selected stitch narrower or wider as required.
Self adjusting tension system
The machine will adjust the tensions automatically for your selected stitch.
Reverse (touch button)
Sew stitches in reverse easily with the reverse button.
Presser foot sensor
Ensures the presser foot is in the correct postion for an easy start
13 x Variable needle positions

This is a very good place to have your machine serviced. My Janome is over 50 years old and was getting a bit tired and needed attention. Bob has given it new life,it is as good as new now. The service was prompt and the staff in the shop were friendly knowledgeable. Thank you Bob, a good job done.I would also like to commend the staff in the shop, particularly Olivia , who were very ,kind and helpful to me when I tripped and fell outside the shop . The staff go above and beyond with their service. They took the time to teach me some basics on using the Janome FD216 and helped so much, in regards to the transportation of the machine. You can easily see how knowledgeable they are and the care they have for sewing. Lots of information can be found on the website and also over the phone.
