Bob started The Sewing Machine Company back in 1998. His contribution has shaped the Sewing community of Melbourne, strengthened our partnership, and helped build the trust and connection our community values so deeply. Bob is not only respected for his expertise, but truly loved for his warmth, humour, and the generosity he brings to every interaction. . We can only imagine how many lives Bob has touched over the years, guiding, encouraging, and igniting people’s creative passions. His influence has rippled far beyond the day‑to‑day, inspiring makers, sewists, and entire communities to explore their creativity with confidence and joy.

As Bob steps into his next chapter, we want him to know he will be greatly missed. His legacy will continue in the Knox store and the many people who have had the pleasure of working alongside him.
