I know nothing anout sewing machines, and as this is a gift for my wife I will let her reserve judgement on it, however I can comment on the service and support received from Hobby Sew. I called about this machine, and they managed to find one for me and get it to me in Tasmania in plenty of time for my wife's birthday this week. Nothing be excellent service and can highly recommend,
