Double Ended Knitting Needles

Double-ended needles are pointed at both ends and are most commonly used to knit smaller tube-shaped pieces such as sleeves, collars, and socks. They usually come in sets of 4, 5, or 6 needles. The point on both ends are so that you can knit from either side of the needle.
